Germany, Weimar Republic. A Forestry Cutlass, Luxury Version with Miniature, by Clemen & Jung Province of China above AH’s reproduced signature(Forstdienst Hirschfnger mit Miniatur). A rare and well preserved Forestry Service cutlass, measuring 55. 5 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 42 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade which retains factory original sharpening to both the tip and throat. The blade displays intricate and double sided acid etched designs consisting of hunting and forester imagery. The reverse ricasso is maker marked with a partially
