Constructed of bronzed zink, on loop for suspension with its period original ribbon affixed to a classic Spanish style bronze buckle indicating issue to a foreign recipient, the obverse bearing a raised Maltese Cross with pebbled arms joined through the quadrants by NSDAP style German national eagles clutching wreathed mobile swastikas, the reverse bearing a raised
