Germany, Heer. An Army Cavalry Officer’s M1938 Field Cap GTRexclude 48 mm (w) x 52(Heer Kavallerie Feldmtze). This is an extremely well preserved Heer (Army) Cavalry officers M1938 field cap, constructed of field grey wool twill. The top of the cap, as well as the frontal scallops, are adorned with silver aluminum wire piping, while the top also bears dual ventilation holes reinforced with magnetic metal eyelets. Stitched into the peak of the cap is an insignia in the form of a Wehrmacht style German national eagle clutching a
