Belgium, Kingdom. An Order of the Crown, Grand Cross Set, by P.De Greef Auction Archive embossed with the maker’s markInstituted in 1897. The Grand Cross Badge in bronze gilt consists of a five point star in white enamel, with emanating rays in between each point, hanging on a green enameled laurel wreath; the obverse centerpiece bears a royal crown on a blue enameled field, the reverse bears the stylized double L monogram of Leopold II; worn on red sash, inclusive of suspension 74. 2 mm (h) x 52. 6 mm (w), enamels intact, extremely fine condition. Accompanied by the
