Constructed of thick black wool, with fold down scalloped panels to the front and side. The front of the cap is missing its original eagle, but still has its original pink Waffenfarbe soutache, indicating Panzer units, sewn to the cap, along with a tri colour cockade that is sewn to the cap via dark green backing.
